Your support group is going away.

You no longer see your friends on a regular basis, and you need a new community.

Join current and former homeschool parents in this nine-month group coaching community as we support, encourage, and hold each other accountable to pursuing our dreams and next callings.

One day I realized that I hadn't seen my friends in quite a while. As my daughters started going places more on their own, I didn't have the built-in fellowship time with my friends. I missed community and connection! I scheduled lunches and coffee dates occasionally, but it was a hassle to continually coordinate everyone's schedules. I decided I needed to find a way to cultivate a new community in this next stage of parenting!

Can you relate?

Slowly, I started finding new friends at church, through my coach training, and intentional networking efforts. As I talked to more homeschool moms and dads with teenagers, I heard the same story. Their community was slowly shrinking, and they needed to find a new one.

An online community cannot replace in-person connections, but it has been a part of my new story. In addition to finding ways to connect with people locally, I have also found new friends with similar interests and passions through my online connections.

The Front Porch Coaching Community is a place where you can connect with other homeschool parents who are exploring their next steps and looking for community. It's a safe space for you to share your challenges and celebrations during this transition stage, explore mindsets that might hinder your pursuit of your goals and identify strategies to overcome them, and develop new friendships.

I was able to give myself permission to be and accept myself.

Through her coaching, I was able to discover awareness of my behavior and thought patterns, identify beneficial aspects of who I was created to be and the way I’ve been made, and give myself permission to be and accept myself.

In the Front Porch Group Coaching Community, we explore nine mindsets that might be holding you back from pursuing your next calling.

The 9 limiting mindsets:

1. Attachment to the past

Your annual traditions and daily routines are changing. You might feel lost, left out, or left behind when you no longer have the anchors in your life that you once did.

2. Loss of Identity

You are no longer, or soon won't be, a homeschool teacher. Who are you when you don't have lessons to plan, schedules to coordinate, and kids to chauffeur?

3. Loss of community

The friends you once saw on a regular basis are slowly drifting away as everyone's children become involved in different activities. You no longer have the built-in community that you did.

4. Letting go of control

Did you do enough to prepare your children to succeed? How do you allow your children to learn from their own mistakes? Letting go of control feels scary and overwhelming.

5. Fear of the unknown, failure, or success

What will life after homeschooling look like? What if you fail at your next pursuit? What if you succeed? Uncertainty creates anxiety and hinders your growth.

6. Perceived lack of skills

It's been so long since you held a “real” job, will you be able to step back into the workforce? How will you capitalize on the skills you learned and the character you developed while teaching your children?

7. Comparison

“Am I too old to start over?” “Could I go back to school?” “I'm not….enough.” Comparison has stopped many people from using their gifts and talents to help others. Will you be one of them?

8. Self-Compassion

What will you do when you make a mistake? What happens when your project doesn't turn out as you expected? Can you live with progress over perfection?

9. Next Steps

What will you do next? How will you live out your calling?

Join us!

Join current and former homeschool parents in this nine-month group coaching community as we support, encourage, and hold each other accountable to pursuing our dreams and next callings. At the conclusion of this group, you will have a new perspective on your future and will have a new community cheering you on!

Step 1: Schedule a coffee chat.

On a coffee chat, we'll get to know each other so we can decide if this group coaching community would be a good fit for you and if we would work well together. This is not a high-pressure sales call. Think of it more like interviewing a tutor for your child.

Step 2: Enroll.

Once you are ready to begin your coaching journey, you can book your first 1:1 session and choose your payment option. You'll then sign the coaching contract and complete a brief (less than 5 minutes) new client form. This step is a little like setting up your homeschool year.

New communities form each September and are limited to eight participants.

Step 3: Prepare for the calls.

As soon as you complete the enrollment process, you will receive an email providing information on how to navigate the coaching platform and join our coaching calls.

Each group is limited to eight participants to cultivate relationships.

From September through May, group coaching calls will be held on the first and third Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. CT.

What's my investment?

You invested in curriculum, classes, and extracurricular activities for your children to prepare them for their future endeavors. It's time to invest in your future. Your investment of $1500 (or 9 payments of $167) helps you overcome limiting mindsets and pursue your future endeavors confidently.

The scales finally came off!

On my own coaching journey, I often felt like Eustace in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader when Aslan helped him scrape the scales off to become a better version of himself. Through coaching and the Holy Spirit's help, I have realized many things about myself and made many changes that have helped me become a better version of myself. I am so grateful that I discovered coaching! I have seen lives transformed in big and small ways, both for myself and my clients.
