Brick by Brick:

A hands-on, insightful event for moms of neurodivergent teens who want to laugh, reflect, and discover the joy of being in community with other moms who get it.

As our differently wired teens grow more independent, our once-busy calendars start to quiet.

The conversations that used to happen on the sidelines or at co-ops get fewer and farther between.

It can feel strange to miss the busy days you once couldn’t wait to escape, but now that they’re gone, part of you misses what they meant—being together, being needed, being in it with others.

That’s why I created Brick by Brick, a fun, relaxed space for moms to slow down, build with purpose, and connect with others who understand what this season feels like.

This isn’t your typical workshop.

It’s a hands-on experience designed for thoughtful connection.

We’ll use LEGO® Serious Play®, a guided, creative process that helps you think, reflect, and express ideas in a new way.

You’ll build with your hands while your heart and mind catch up, and you’ll be surprised by how easily insight and laughter show up together.

You don’t have to be creative, just curious.

What You’ll Experience

During Brick by Brick, you’ll:

  • Enjoy a relaxed time of creativity and conversation.
  • See your life and relationships from a fresh perspective.
  • Celebrate the strengths that make you who you are.
  • Laugh, reflect, and connect with other moms who understand what it’s like to parent a differently wired teen.
  • Walk away with a lighter heart, a tangible reminder of your strengths, and a renewed sense of appreciation for your role in your family.

What’s Included in Your Brick by Brick Experience

Each Brick by Brick session is $25 per person and includes:

  • A LEGO® Serious Play® kit mailed to each participant
  • Guided facilitation and reflection activities
  • A meaningful, joy-filled evening of connection

(Already have a kit from a past Brick by Brick session? Bring it along and keep building on what you’ve started.)

Why LEGO® Serious Play®?

Because sometimes words aren’t enough.

Developed by the LEGO Group to inspire creativity, communication, and collaboration, this method helps people discover new insights through building and storytelling.

This isn't about building fancy models or being artistic. LEGO® Serious Play® is a guided process that helps you think with your hands.

It’s thoughtful, interactive, and surprisingly fun, and it's perfect for moms who want to connect with themselves and each other on a deeper level without being too serious.

Upcoming Events

Check out the next Brick by Brick sessions below. Spaces are limited to 8 participants to keep the group small and relaxed.

While we will use the same LEGO® Serious Play® methodology for each session, the focus and activity will be different. You can register for more than one session.

Registration closes about a week before the event to allow time to mail the LEGO® Serious Play® Coaching Kit.

If the dates don’t work or registration is full, join the waiting list to hear when new sessions are added.

Have a few friends you want to share this experience with? Gather 4–7 friends, and we can schedule a private session just for your group. Send me a message to discuss scheduling your group.

November Session – Celebrating Your Strengths

In this Brick by Brick session, we’ll focus on celebrating the unique strengths you bring to your family. Through a guided LEGO® Serious Play® activity, you’ll build a model that represents how you support those you love and reflect on the qualities that make you who you are. As you share and connect with other moms, you’ll begin to see your everyday efforts through a lens of appreciation and grace and leave with a deeper sense of confidence, joy, and gratitude for the mom you already are.

December Session – Finding Your Calm in the Storm

When your teen’s emotions swirl like a storm, it’s easy to get swept up in the chaos. In this LEGO® Serious Play® session, you’ll reflect on what kinds of storms are hardest for you to weather, discover where you find your calm when the storm hits, and identify what you want to remember the next time emotions start to rise. You’ll leave with a tangible reminder of what it looks like to be the calm in the storm even when life with your teenager feels turbulent.

What Brick by Brick Attendees Had to Say

I finally feel at peace with who I am. I’m not broken.

Crystal helped me explore my options in a supportive, nonjudgmental space. She helped me recognize my multi-passionate nature as a strength and guided me to realistic strategies that fit my capacity. Coaching with Crystal was exactly what I needed to move forward without sacrificing parts of myself.
Kalyn C.

A simple daily shift brought stability to my entire life.

Working with Crystal brought the fresh perspective I needed during a season of significant life changes. Coaching helped me focus on what truly mattered, rather than getting lost in the small details. One simple but powerful shift—committing to my daily three—has helped me feel more accomplished and stable. Even when a day doesn’t go as planned, I know I’ve had a win.
Melissa K.

I have a clearer picture of what I truly want.

Crystal has this way of asking questions that makes you look deep inside yourself and try to understand yourself even more. The most beneficial part for me was how she helped me look at different parts of myself deeply. I now have a clearer picture of what I truly want, and I’m better at setting realistic expectations for this season of motherhood I’m in.

Behind the Bricks

Hi, I’m Crystal Wagner. I’m a Life and Parenting Coach, and I help moms launch their neurodivergent teenagers into adulthood with confidence and grace.

LEGO® Serious Play® has become one of my favorite ways to do that. It helps me see, understand, and make sense of my thoughts in a tangible way, something I didn’t even realize I needed until I experienced it myself.

It also lets me play again, like I did when I was little, while discovering new insights and laughter along the way. That mix of depth and delight is what I want for every mom who joins me for Brick by Brick.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to some of the most common questions women ask before starting coaching, so you can feel confident about taking your next step. If you have a question that is not answered here, schedule a free Discovery Call.

You’re not alone! Many mom's have asked this question. This isn’t about building fancy models or being artistic. LEGO® Serious Play® is a guided process that helps you think with your hands. You’ll use the bricks to represent ideas and experiences, not to build perfect creations. Most people are surprised by how quickly they relax and start having fun.

Brick by Brick is for moms who want to have fun, try something different, and connect with other women in a meaningful way. Groups are small (4–8) to keep things personal, intimate, and fun.

We meet virtually via Zoom so moms can join from anywhere.

If you’re in the Oklahoma City metro area and schedule a private event, we can also meet in person.

Each Brick by Brick session lasts about 90 minutes, which gives us plenty of time to build, share, and connect without feeling rushed.

Just yourself and a willingness to play!

Expect laughter, meaningful conversation, and a few “aha” moments. I’ll start by introducing how LEGO® bricks can be used in a new way—to think, reflect, and express ideas. You’ll have a chance to build something in response to a prompt, then share what you created and what it means to you. We might ask gentle, curiosity-driven questions to help you make sense of your thoughts. Whatever you build is perfect; there are no right or wrong answers.

All participants need to be registered at least one week before the event so I have time to mail the LEGO® kits.

Refunds are available until the LEGO® kits are mailed (one week before the event). After that, no refunds can be given, since materials and shipping are already in process, but you’re always welcome to transfer your spot to another participant. If you need to transfer your registration, please contact me with their name and email address so I can send them the event details and ensure they receive all necessary information.

Partnering with people in the process of change is a sacred stewardship. Thus, my ongoing education and preparation will never be done. You can see a condensed list of my current qualifications here. But rest assured, the learning never ends.
