The way you listen changes everything.
I speak to women, leaders, faith communities, and organizations who care deeply about the relationships they are building because conversations shape culture.
- They shape families.
- They shape teams.
- They shape the next generation.
And most of us were never actually taught how to listen in a way that builds trust, influence, and connection.
Why This Matters
In conversations, I hear a similar tension:
- Conversations feel reactive instead of reflective.
- Leaders want influence without controlling.
- Parents want connection.
- Teams want clarity without conflict.
- Women in transition want to move forward but feel unsure how.
We often try to fix communication by talking more, but transformation begins when we listen differently.
- When people feel heard, they soften.
- When conversations feel safe, clarity emerges.
- When we steward our own presence well, others respond differently.
My Signature Message
The way you listen changes everything.
Listening:
- is leadership
- regulates the nervous system
- builds trust
- clarifies calling
- strengthens influence
Whether I’m speaking in a church, a nonprofit, a women’s gathering, or a professional organization, I help audiences understand that listening is not passive. It is powerful. It is intentional. And it is a skill that can be learned and practiced immediately. My goal is never just inspiration. My goal is that participants walk away with practical tools and techniques they can use immediately so relationships grow stronger, conversations feel safer, and influence becomes more sustainable.

Experiential Workshops for Connection and Growth
LEGO® Serious Play® Workshops
LEGO® Serious Play® is a hands-on, reflective experience that helps individuals and groups think more clearly, communicate more effectively, and gain insight through building and reflection. Rather than relying solely on discussion or presentations, participants use LEGO® bricks to build models that represent ideas, experiences, and perspectives. This process makes thinking visible and creates space for deeper understanding and meaningful dialogue.
These workshops can be designed to support a wide range of outcomes, from team building and collaboration to individual reflection, problem-solving, and visioning. Sessions are fully customized to meet the needs of your group and can be offered as a 60–90 minute experience, a half-day workshop, or a full-day program. Depending on your goals, the focus may be relational and team-oriented or reflective and individually focused.
This approach works well for conferences, retreats, leadership teams, staff development days, and community gatherings looking for an engaging, interactive way to build understanding and connection.

Coaching Every Brain: Creating Psychological Safety in Diverse Thinking Spaces
Clients think, process, and communicate in many different ways, and coaches can feel uncertain when a client’s natural way of expressing themselves differs from what they expect. These moments can prompt assumptions or subtle pressure to direct the session, unintentionally disrupting trust and safety.
In this workshop, we’ll explore how coaches use attuned presence, curiosity, and collaborative partnership to create the conditions for psychological safety when clients engage or process in diverse ways. We’ll examine how coaches notice and respond to different forms of engagement, work with varying pacing, and co-create the session structure to support deeper thinking. By focusing on coaching behaviors that invite authenticity, autonomy, and spacious exploration, we’ll strengthen our ability to create coaching spaces where every brain can show up fully and think freely.
Learning Objectives:
1. Strengthen the coach’s ability to recognize and respond to indicators of psychological safety, especially when clients think, communicate, or process in diverse ways.
2. Deepen the coach’s capacity to create psychologically safe coaching spaces through attuned presence, curiosity, and collaborative partnership.
3. Enhance the coach’s self-awareness and self-management so they can hold grounded presence, attunement, and non-judgment throughout the coaching process.

Demonstrates Ethical Practice: Living ICF Core Competency #1 in Real Life
Ethical practice is more than following rules. It is the foundation of trust, safety, and professionalism in every coaching relationship. In this interactive session, we explore ICF Core Competency #1, Demonstrates Ethical Practice, through real-life examples, reflective exercises, and practical application. Participants will examine how ethical behavior shapes client experience, protects both coach and client, and establishes the psychological safety required for transformational work.
Together, we will look at common “sneaky” ethical situations such as confidentiality, dual relationships, role switching, and referral decisions. Rather than memorizing policies, participants will strengthen their capacity for ethical discernment and decision-making in everyday coaching practice. This session is appropriate for new coaches, experienced practitioners, and those exploring the coaching profession.
Learning Objectives
- Describe ethical responsibilities aligned with the ICF Code of Ethics and Core Competency #1, Demonstrates Ethical Practice.
- Identify everyday coaching situations where boundaries, confidentiality, and role clarity support trust and psychological safety.
- Differentiate coaching from other helping professions and recognize when a referral to another support professional is appropriate.
- Apply a reflective ethical decision-making process to common coaching dilemmas.
