Pivot Points Group Coaching Program
Learn the pivots that can transform your conversations
and relationships with your teenage children.

Does this sound familiar?
- You are having trouble connecting with your teen.
- You receive one-word answers like “Fine,” “Good,” or “Meh” to questions about how their day went.
- They are spending more time in their room or with their friends and less time with you.
- You feel a growing tension everytime you have a conversation with your child.
It's normal for your teen to pull away from you as they mature. We want them to be independent and prepared to become an adult, but you don't have to lose the connection and relationship you've built with them.
Imagine this:
- You walk away from conversations with your teen without second-guessing yourself.
- You don't need to replay the words in your head, wondering if you said too much, not enough, if they felt heard, or if they heard you.
- You feel calmer and more confident, even when your teen’s emotions run high.
- Your teenager opens up more because they feel safe, respected, and understood.
- Trust deepens because you’re no longer rushing to give advice or jumping in too fast.
- You’re present in a way that keeps the door open with your teen, even in the messy moments.

This isn’t just about improving your conversations. It’s about changing you and the way you show up as a mom, the presence you bring, and the trust you create with your teenager. You need to pivot your approach and change alongside them.
What is Pivot Points?
Most moms want to be good listeners, but it’s easy to slip into fixing, rescuing, or second-guessing yourself, especially as your kids become teenagers. Pivot Points is a six-session, small-group experience that helps you practice the simple shifts that make conversations calmer, clearer, and more connected.
You’ll learn how to:
- Ask better questions that open the door to clarity and trust.
- Stay grounded and present when emotions run high.
- Let go of the pressure to fix and discover the freedom of true partnership.
- Empower your teens to own their choices without carrying the weight for them.
- Grow into the mom your teens want to talk to as they become young adults.
This program is for moms of teenagers who want to show up differently in conversations and practice real skills that strengthen connection and trust during this season of change.
But there's a slight twist…
When you join Pivot Points, you won’t be in a group of strangers.
Instead, you’ll invite at least three friends, colleagues, or peers to join you as your learning partners.
Because you already trust one another, you can dive right in, practice together, and apply what you’re learning in the relationships that matter most.
How Pivot Points Works
We meet as a group for six sessions, generally twice a month. Each session runs for 90 minutes and includes:
- Q&A about the week's lesson (20 minutes) – Before each session, you’ll watch a short video in which I teach a core Pivot Point skill, drawn from proven coaching approaches that improve conversations. During our time together, we’ll discuss what you learned and answer your questions.
- Hands-on Practice (20–30 minutes) – You’ll practice the skills from the video lessons by coaching each other. Each week, one mom, the “coachee,” brings a real situation to talk about. The group practices Pivot Point skills in real time to help the “coachee” think through her challenge.
- Debrief & Feedback (15-20 Minutes) – Reflect on what worked, what felt helpful, and what would make it even better.
- Q&A + Integration – Ask questions, process insights, and prepare to put the skill into action in your daily life.
You won’t just learn about better conversations. You’ll experience what it feels like to be heard and to listen in a new way.
What's included?
- Three-month group coaching program – Over three months, you’ll gather with your group twice a month for six 90-minute sessions. Together, you’ll build trust, share real situations, and grow your listening skills week by week.
- A to Z Listening Skills eBook – A practical guide with 26 simple and practical ways to strengthen your listening skills and connection with your teen.
- Group Voxer Voice Note Support – When challenges with your teen arise, you can process them in real time with the group through voice notes and receive coaching support from me about how to handle the situation.
- Training Videos – Short, focused lessons that teach each Pivot Point skill ahead of our sessions, so our group time can go deeper into discussion and practice.
Your investment in the Pivot Points program is $495 per person for the full six-session program. Payment plans are available.
What will be different at the end of our time?
By the end of our six sessions together, you will:
- Feel more confident, calm, and at peace in conversations with your teen.
- Stay present even when emotions run high.
- Recognize what’s yours to carry as a mom and what you can release.
- Offer guidance at the right time, in a way your teen can actually receive.
- Empower your teen to take ownership of their choices and actions.
- Watch your teen open up more because they trust you to listen without fixing.
Ongoing Support
You’ll see meaningful growth in just three months, but these skills deepen with continued practice. After completing Pivot Points, you can enroll in 1:1 coaching and have a safe space to process real-life situations and continue to strengthen your listening presence. Depending on the group's preference, we could discuss continuing group coaching support.
Who is this for?
If you’ve ever thought, “I just don’t know how to help without making it worse,” or “I wish my teen felt safe opening up to me,” you’re in the right place.
This program is for moms who want to:
- Connect more deeply with their teenagers during this season of growing independence
- Stay calm and confident in hard conversations instead of second-guessing themselves
- Build trust that keeps the door open, even when their teen pulls away
- Listen in ways that invite their teen to share more without feeling judged or like mom is trying to solve a problem for them
- Show up as the safe, steady presence their teen needs as they become a young adult
And while the focus is on your relationship with your teen, you’ll also find these skills spill over and strengthen your connection with your spouse, friends, and community, too.
