ICF Mentor Coaching, Coaching Supervision, & Life Coaching
for Neurodivergent and Out-of-the-Box Coaches

You coach because you love helping people.

And it can be hard, leaving you burned out and drained.

But what if you leveraged your gifts to build a coaching practice that energizes rather than drains you?

It's possible!

I let go of all of the “shoulds” and focused on leveraging what I do well and what energizes me.

As I leaned into my strengths and built a coaching practice designed with my energy and sensory needs in mind, I started thriving.

I found clients who appreciated the way I coach.
I developed my skills through an out-of-the-box perspective.
I expanded my offerings to match my diverse interests.

Hi, I'm Crystal Wagner.

As a high-sensory, AuDHD (autistic and ADHD) woman working as a life and leadership coach, coach supervisor, mentor coach, and coach educator, I get how powerful personalized support can be.

You need someone to support your personal and professional growth who gets you as a neurodivergent, high-sensory, highly sensitive, or out-of-the-box coach.

Someone who:

  • Doesn't insist that you market your business through social media, networking, or other draining strategies.
  • Doesn't suggest that you need counseling or therapy because you experience big emotions.
  • Knows you need extra time and space to process challenging client situations.

I'm honored when clients tell me they feel safe and supported as they grow their business in a way that aligns with who they are and what is most important to them.

Coaching That Works for You

This isn’t just about being a better coach.

It’s about creating a coaching practice that leverages and supports your wiring, energy, and unique needs.

More clarity. More confidence. More sustainability.

Together, we can find your rhythm so you can flourish and thrive as an out-of-the-box coach.

The world needs you!

Let's explore what you need to thrive and grow as a neurodivergent or out-of-the-box coach.

Out-of-the-box Support for Out-of-the-box Coaches

Professional development doesn't have to be one-size-fits-all. When we work together, we can shape your support to meet your unique needs through life coaching, mentor coaching, or coaching supervision.

Different seasons call for different kinds of support.

Not sure what you need? Here's a graphic depicting key aspects of the different modalities. Below is a description of each one.

Some days, what you need most is someone to hold space for you—to talk through what’s happening in your life, untangle your thoughts, and be supported as a whole person, not just a coach.

This is a safe, reflective space for deep thinkers who want to process life with someone who gets it.

Mentor coaching is a focused, supportive space to help you grow in your mastery of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Core Competencies and prepare to apply for an ICF credential or renewal.

It blends skill development, reflective dialogue, and feedback to help you coach with greater confidence, consistency, and alignment with ICF standards.

This support can be used for:

  • ACC or PCC initial credentialing
  • ACC or PCC renewal

Mentor coaching hours can count for up to 10 hours of the required CCE’s for ICF credential renewal.

Coaching Supervision is a reflective space to support you as a coach and a professional.

We can focus on professional growth, such as developing your own reflective practice, discussing challenging client cases, exploring ethical challenges, or refining your coaching philosophy.

Supervision is a space to support your well-being, such as processing the emotional load of client work, developing healthy boundaries and self-care practices, or renewing your purpose.

It is also a space to explore your coaching practice development, such as defining your niche, developing your offers, or designing a business model and marketing that supports your energy instead of depleting it.

This PDF includes many examples of what you can bring into a supervision session.

It is generally recommended to engage in 1 hour of supervision for every 35 hours you coach or at least one supervision session every quarter. Coaching supervision can count for up to 10 hours of the required CCE’s for ICF credential renewal.

How We Can Work Together

Choose the type of support that best fits your current goals, or combine mentor coaching and supervision into a personalized experience. We'll shape our work together around what will best support your growth.

Enhanced Mentor Coaching (EMC) is a developmental process that occurs over an extended time (at least three months) and strengthens your coaching through observation, reflection, and feedback, aligned with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Core Competencies.

EMC is required by the ICF for ACC and PCC credential applications. Through three 1:1 mentor coaching sessions, we will review three 30-45 minute recordings of you coaching clients, discuss strengths and opportunities for growth, and engage in reflective dialogue.

Are you ready for 1:1 mentor coaching?

The following are indicators that you are ready for the Enhanced Mentor Coaching process.

  • Have access to clients with whom you can record 30-45 minute coaching sessions
  • Willing to engage in reflective exercises
  • Willing to listen to your coaching sessions and consider the strengths and opportunities for growth
  • Open to receiving supportive, evidence-based feedback
  • Desire to intentionally develop your coaching skills rather than simply complete the mentor coaching requirement

Through this developmental process, you may notice:

  • Greater clarity about your coaching strengths
  • Increased confidence that feels grounded and embodied rather than performative
  • A deeper understanding of the ICF Core Competencies
  • Greater awareness of patterns and developmental opportunities
  • Coaching that becomes increasingly authentic, intentional, and responsive

Credentialing Assessment

Following each session, you'll receive a Session Observation Form documenting evidence related to the ICF Core Competencies.

At the conclusion of the three sessions, you will receive a Competency Review Form summarizing your development and a recommendation to either proceed to credential application or engage in further mentor coaching to shore up weak competencies.

While I look for all possible evidence that the competencies are being demonstrated, my recommendation is based on the evidence demonstrated in your coaching recordings. If additional development is needed, I will recommend continued mentor coaching before you apply for your credential.

The goal isn't simply to determine whether you demonstrate the competencies. The goal is to intentionally develop your coaching over time.
