Life Coaching After a Neurodivergent Diagnosis or Discovery
You know more about how you're wired. Now comes the process of discovering who you really are.
Make sense of what you're discovering, understand yourself more deeply, and create a life that aligns with who you are.

Maybe you finally have a name for why life has always felt harder than it seems like it should.
ADHD. Autism. AuDHD. Highly sensitive. Neurodivergent.
Or maybe you don't have an official diagnosis. You've simply discovered a way of understanding yourself that explains so much.
And now you're looking at your past and future through a completely different lens.
- Why was that so hard for me?
- Was I really too sensitive?
- Is this why I get overwhelmed when everyone else seems fine?
- How much of who I've learned to be is actually me?
- Who am I underneath all the expectations, coping strategies, and ways I've learned to adapt?
- What do I need to function well instead of simply pushing through?
- And what do I do with all of this now?
A neurodivergent diagnosis or discovery can bring tremendous relief.
There was a reason.
But it can also begin a much bigger transition.
You may find yourself reexamining your experiences, relationships, work, expectations, and even your understanding of who you are.
There may be grief and anger alongside relief and self-compassion.
And you may begin noticing just how much energy you've spent trying to function in ways that weren't designed for you.
You may have spent years trying harder to be like everyone else.
Trying to be more disciplined.
More consistent.
Less sensitive.
Less intense.
More organized.
But what if the next chapter isn't about trying harder?
What if it's about understanding yourself well enough to live differently?
That can mean learning to recognize what your brain and body need, what helps you feel regulated and engaged, and what ways of living and working actually fit you.
And gradually discovering what feels authentically you.
You were created for a purpose.

The way you think, feel, notice, create, and experience the world matters. The world needs your perspective and your presence.
The questions begin to change:
- Who am I when I'm not trying so hard to be who I thought I was supposed to be?
- What helps my nervous system feel safe enough to think, create, connect, and engage?
- What actually works for my brain, body, and energy?
- What do I want my work, relationships, and everyday life to feel like?
- What do I want to keep, and what am I ready to let go of?
- What would it look like to build a life that fits me?
Hi, I'm Crystal Wagner.
I’ve been there.
Diagnosed as Autistic and ADHD at 47, I went through my own process of discovering that the way I experience the world has a name and looking back at my life with an entirely new understanding.
I know what it's like to want someone to just tell you what to do next.
I wanted someone to lay out my path, one stepping stone placed neatly in front of the other.

But what I needed wasn't another expert telling me how I should live.
I needed space to slow down, make sense of what I was discovering, notice what my mind and body were telling me, and really listen to myself.
I needed a space where someone wasn't trying to fix me or hurry me toward an answer.
I needed a space that felt safe enough to be brave and authentic. I needed someone to tell me, “It's okay to be you.”
Maybe that's what you need, too.
I believe you can move beyond simply understanding that you're differently wired to knowing yourself, trusting yourself, and creating a life that aligns with who you are.
I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you discover what that looks like for you.

What is life coaching?
The first thing people usually ask me is, “What is life coaching?”
Coaching gives you space to slow things down, hear yourself think, and discover your own way forward.
Especially if you're late-diagnosed or adult-diagnosed with ADHD or autism, or have recently discovered that you're neurodivergent, you may be in the middle of a significant life transition even if your life looks exactly the same from the outside.
You're learning who you are with information you didn't have before.
Coaching gives you space to explore questions such as:
- Who am I underneath the expectations I've absorbed?
- What do I need to feel regulated and able to engage with my life?
- What actually works for the way I'm wired?
- What would a life that genuinely fits me look like?

You don't have to figure it out by yourself.
I'm here as a thinking partner to listen without judgment, ask questions, notice connections, and help you make sense of what's swirling around in your head.
I may also bring in what I know about neurodivergence, executive functioning, sensory processing, and nervous-system regulation when information or a different framework could help you better understand what you're experiencing.
But I'm not here to become the expert on you.
Together, we'll slow things down, crystallize your thoughts, and make connections so you can understand yourself more deeply and discern your next right step.
Sometimes you'll leave with an actionable next step. Other times it might be a decision, a new perspective, a deeper understanding of yourself, permission to do something differently, or something you want to experiment with.
I'm not here to tell you the “right” way to be or the “right” way to live your life.
I'm here to help you discover your way forward—one that honors who you are, how you're wired, and what matters to you.

What it's like to work with me
Authentic
You don't have to mask, perform, or arrive with a neatly packaged coaching topic. Bring the big ideas, the big emotions, the tangents, the doubts, the questions, and the parts of yourself you're still learning to understand. You are not too much.
Regulating
Insight is harder to access when your nervous system is overwhelmed. We'll pay attention to what is happening in your mind and your body, slowing down when needed and exploring what helps you feel regulated enough to think, reflect, make decisions, and move forward.
Experiential
Sometimes talking isn't enough. We can use creative and hands-on approaches, such as LEGO® Serious Play®, guided reflection, art, metaphor, and movement to help you access insights you might not find through words alone.
Insightful
I'll listen for patterns, notice connections, and ask questions that help you understand yourself more deeply, not just solve the problem in front of you. Because sometimes the thing you're trying to solve is pointing toward a much bigger question about what you need or how you want to live.
Experimental
You don't have to find the perfect way to do life. We'll explore what might work for you, experiment with different approaches, and pay attention to what you learn about yourself along the way.
Unhurried
You don't have to rush through this process. Some discoveries take time to make sense of. Some changes need to be tried before you know whether they fit. And sometimes you need space to sit with a question before you're ready to answer it. We'll move at the pace your process needs.

Our Work Together
Most clients begin with a 3-month coaching package, meeting twice a month.
This gives us time to explore what you're discovering about yourself, make sense of old patterns and experiences through a new lens, and begin experimenting with ways of living and working that better support your nervous system and align with who you are.
Your coaching might touch your work or business, relationships, routines, decisions, boundaries, sensory environment, executive functioning, identity, purpose or simply the question, What do I want my life to look like now?
The investment is $300 per month for three months.

After the initial three months, we'll talk about what would be most supportive going forward. You may want to continue meeting twice a month, shift to monthly sessions, or decide you're ready to continue on your own with sessions scheduled as needed.
There's no one “right” way to be supported, and our work together should honor that, too.
Ready to get started?
If you're ready to understand yourself more deeply and begin creating a life that aligns with who you're discovering yourself to be, schedule a no-cost, no-obligation Discovery Call.
We'll talk about what you're navigating, what you're discovering about yourself, what you hope might be different, and what kind of support would be helpful. You can also ask any questions you have about coaching or working with me.
I believe coaching can change lives, and I never want finances to be the only reason someone doesn't receive support. If you're in a season where the standard rate isn't possible, please reach out. I reserve a limited number of reduced-rate coaching spaces and would be happy to discuss those with you.
